The main advantage of CHIROMEGA electric dental sets compared to cheaper pneumatic types is the built-in electric micromotor and the internal system controlled by electric fans. The electric micromotor reaches a speed of 40,000/min. Air-driven micromotor reaching max. 20,000 / min. The electronics of the electric motor are equipped with a quick stop function. The air micromotor requires a longer time to start, but also needs to be very fast due to the lack of a quick stop. Pneumatic valves should only be opened when they are filled with the necessary pressure. Similarly, after stopping the pneumatic valve, the air pressure inside and the valve is stopped by the valve.
